ABSTRACT
Businesses are changing the way they create, operate, and expand their applications by adopting cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and microservices-based application architectures. While some are starting from scratch with microservices, others are upgrading existing applications while managing monolithic systems. To ensure security across the cloud-native stack, organizations must transform their security implementation. New technologies can lead to unexpected security challenges, and some companies may find themselves overwhelmed by security demands across the entire application life cycle, from development to deployment and maintenance. Therefore, they require a simpler way to safeguard their containerized applications without hindering development or increasing operational intricacies.
"Security is one the biggest concerns with container adoption, and security issues continue to cause delays in deploying applications into production."
